Heat insulation of any surface Insulating paint

Isollat-01

Description

White insulation paint. Color matching of the topcoat is possible.

Packed in buckets: 5 / 10  / 19 liters

Purpose

Isollat 01 insulation material is used for vertical surfaces - coating indoor and outdoor walls, facades, buildings, roofs.   Isollat 01 retains heat and reduces heat loss.

Isollat 01 can be easily used within temperatures from -60 to + 150ºC

Applications

    •          insulation of houses and low-rise buildings
    •          heat insulation of facades
    •          heat insulation of roofs
    •          heat insulation of walls

Preparing surfaces for applying Isollat coating:

  • Brick surface
For best results, before painting fresh plaster, a layer of acrylic primer with deep penetration should be applied, which is primarily necessary for soft, easily crumbling plaster surfaces. Colorless acrylic primer should be used to fill pores and voids in "old" plaster, if necessary. Isollat consumption on a smooth surface will be significantly reduced, and the applied layer will have more even color. Sometimes in hot dry climate, before coating on the plastered surface without primer, it is necessary to moisten it with water, which will prevent too fast drying of Isollat.
  • Lime plaster surfaces
Before putting Isollat onto coated surfaces, they should be washed with ammonia or soda solution (1 liter of 25% ammonia per 10 liters of water). Then, apply colorless acrylic primer and the surface is ready for painting.

  • Concrete surfaces
The surface should be cleaned from dust and dirt particles (with brushing), from mold (with solution of bleach and water 1:3), from oil (with solution of copper sulfate).
  • Wood surfaces
Wood is prone to water absorption, flammability and can be subject to biological damage. Therefore, it is necessary to apply primer with fire retardants and/or biocides.

Recommendations for applying Isollat-01 liquid ceramic insulation coating:

  • with a brush (pre-soaked in water). Before the first application of Isollat, a brush should be moistened with water and shaken off excess water. Subsequently, a brush should be moistened if it dries; moistening a brush is recommended only for the convenience of coating, so that the coating is applied smoothly, not rolling down on a hot surface, as the coating is quite thick.
  •  using Graco airless spraying units:Graco-795, Graco Mark-V, Graco Mark-X or using a combined unit, like T-MAX 405. At airless spraying, we recommend to observe the following requirements to equipment: HDA-527, 531, 427, 431 paint nozzles (without divider), hoses with a diameter of 1 inch or ¾ inch and up to 15 meters long, the gun type should be TexSpray (without an internal filter), tubular filter in the unit - 30 holes, spray pressure should be not more than 40-50 bar. In order to prevent destruction of microspheres by overpressure, operating pressure in airless spraying units should be set to the lowest possible level.

When operating T-MAX 405 unit and the like, the ones using two spraying methods simultaneously (airless and air), with the air compressor, it is enough to have working pressure of 3-10 bar to apply the material, with a length of hose not more than 10mIrregularities (unevenness) of the coating thickness can be levelled then with a spatula.
