Application of ISOLLAT-02: prevention of condensation and increased productivity.
In South Korea, a project has been successfully completed involving the use of ISOLLAT-02 liquid ceramic thermal insulation coating to insulate the outer surface of an industrial stainless steel silo used for sodium carbonate delivery.
The main task was to prevent condensation from forming on the silo body and to ensure the stability of technological processes by eliminating temperature differences inside the equipment. When storing and transporting sodium carbonate, it is extremely important to prevent the substance from coming into contact with moisture, as it dissolves easily in water and requires reliable protection against corrosion. The equipment was subject to heating and temperature fluctuations in the external environment.
The use of ISOLLAT-02 made it possible to reduce the surface temperature of the body to 16 °C, completely eliminate condensation, and ensure the stability of internal processes. As a result, the silo received long-term protection against moisture and corrosion, the productivity and energy efficiency of the equipment increased, and the uniformity and durability of the applied coating was confirmed.
The project became a prime example of how ISOLLAT-02 solutions help industrial enterprises increase efficiency and ensure uninterrupted operation in difficult operating conditions.
In addition, a pilot project was implemented in parallel to apply the ISOLLAT-effect coating to one of the enterprise's four rotary kilns. The tests confirmed the high efficiency of the material and served as a preparatory stage for the large-scale application of the technology on all production furnaces.
Special Technologies LLC expresses its gratitude to our partner in South Korea for actively promoting ISOLLAT-02 products and providing materials on the successfully implemented project.
