ISOLLAT at KOREA BUILD WEEK 2026
From August 5–8, 2026, one of South Korea’s largest construction and industrial exhibitions, KOREA BUILD WEEK 2026, took place at the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center in Seoul.
This year, the exhibition brought together around 600 companies showcasing their products and technologies across 1,900 exhibition booths. Among the exhibitors was CNT, ISOLLAT’s key partner in South Korea, presenting advanced thermal management solutions based on ISOLLAT liquid ceramic thermal insulation technology.
Participation in KOREA BUILD WEEK 2026 marked another important milestone in expanding ISOLLAT’s presence in South Korea and across the Asia-Pacific region, demonstrating the technology’s capabilities to professionals from the construction and industrial sectors.
Throughout the exhibition, visitors to the CNT booth had the opportunity to consult with specialists on the application of ISOLLAT for a wide range of thermal management challenges.
Special attention was given to the coating’s capabilities for:
- Thermal insulation of industrial equipment and building structures;
- Reducing the surface temperature of high-temperature equipment;
- Minimizing heat transfer through treated surfaces;
- Enhancing fire safety by slowing heat propagation.
One of the highlights of the exhibition was a series of live demonstrations, where visitors could directly observe the coating in action and evaluate its effectiveness in reducing heat transfer through coated surfaces.
Beyond showcasing innovative technology, KOREA BUILD WEEK 2026 also provided an excellent platform for developing new business relationships.
The CNT booth welcomed potential partners and customers from Japan and several Southeast Asian countries. Discussions focused on practical applications of ISOLLAT, implementation opportunities for specific projects, and prospects for future cooperation.
A key event of the exhibition’s business program was the official seminar held on August 6, where Woojun Choi, CEO of CNT, delivered a presentation on heat transfer management during electric vehicle battery fires and thermal runaway.
His presentation introduced the concept of additional fire protection based on controlling heat transfer directly at the surface. This approach positions ISOLLAT coatings as an effective complementary element of existing fire protection systems, working alongside fire detection, suppression, and compartmentation measures.
Particular attention was given to applications where it is essential not only to contain the source of a fire but also to limit heat transfer to adjacent components and structures, helping reduce the risk of fire propagation.
South Korea remains one of the priority markets for the development of ISOLLAT technologies. Today, ISOLLAT products are already being used in a variety of industrial projects across the region, while interest from Korean companies continues to grow.
CNT’s participation in KOREA BUILD WEEK 2026 represents another significant step in strengthening international cooperation and expanding the application of ISOLLAT—from traditional thermal insulation for industrial equipment and construction to advanced solutions for energy efficiency and fire safety.
